Warp combines a modern terminal, coding agents, cloud automation, and software factories for teams that build and ship software.

Warp is an open-source Agentic Development Environment. With Warp, you can run commands in a desktop terminal, use the Warp Agent in a local checkout, and automate background work in the cloud. Teams can use Warp Factories to move work through triage, implementation, and review.

With the Warp desktop terminal, you can run commands, edit code, and work with agents in a local checkout.

  • Modern terminal editing - Edit commands, navigate blocks, manage tabs, and customize your terminal.
  • Code - Review agent changes and edit files alongside your terminal.
  • Agents - Start and steer coding agents in the Warp app.

The Warp Agent helps you investigate issues, edit code, run commands, and complete multi-step work. Use it in the Warp terminal or from the Warp Agent CLI, which runs the same agent in any terminal.

The Automation Platform runs cloud agents from triggers, schedules, integrations, and APIs. Use it for background work such as issue triage, pull request review, and recurring maintenance.

A factory is a team of cloud agents connected to your repositories. It routes work from Slack, GitHub, Linear, or Jira through triage, planning, implementation, and review. The output, usually a pull request, is returned to the thread or issue where the work started.

Start and steer interactive work in the Warp terminal with the Warp Agent. For work that starts from a schedule, integration, or API, the Automation Platform runs agents in the cloud. Warp Factories builds on the Automation Platform so teams can route incoming work through repeatable workflows with specialized agents and review stages.
